Special Offer
To help you replace the plants lost to the wet weather, we're lowering our annual prices. All annuals and vegetable plants for one dollar! Yes, that's $1. Hangers for $10. And we still have a full array of perennials. It's not too late for your garden! So come on in and see what's flowering this week.
We're in the paper!
Have you seen the article in the Lowell Sun? John Collins stopped by on Monday, and on Tuesday, July 28, a nice little piece called "A Homegrown Legacy" appeared in the Sun. Besides quoting the work of your faithful correspondant and webmaster (moi) from our History page, he talked with Tom about why local is better, and with Dylan about how much he loves his job.
To quote Dylan, "I love being here. It's my own little country." Looks like we have our next King and Prime Minister of All He Surveys in training!
New Tractor
After 34 years of hard, dedicated service, our beloved old John Deere had to be replaced. Given the economy and the weather, the timing could have been better, but with Dylan taking up the reins, we're going in with the attitude that somehow, we'll pay for this thing.
Dylan, Tom, and their friendly neighborhood John Deere salesman.
The old machine was always called "Sharon's tractor," since they got it the year Sharon was born, or thereabouts. The new one will be "Adam's tractor," after Tina and Tom's grandson.
